The LSE LGBT Moot is a new mooting competition established by the Law Department at the London School of Economics and Political Science, and running for the first time in the 2015-16 academic year. The competition has been named in honour of Baroness Lynne Featherstone.

The competition will coincide with a networking forum at which students will have the opportunity to meet with leading lawyers who are either drawn from or sympathetic to the LGBT community, and who have significant experience of working at the interface between gender identity and sexual orientation law, politics and social action.

The moot is coordinated by Oliver Persey and Dr Andrew Scott.
